Environmentalists ahead of pending Keystone XL report: There will be protests. « Hot Air: "The unnecessarily complicated and epic saga of what in any sane scenario would be a pretty innocuous pipeline project — the type of which we’re going to more in the coming years to cope with the still-burgeoning shale oil-and-gas boom, by the way — continues apace, as the State Department (ostensibly) prepares to release the final version of its impact review of the Keystone XL pipeline. Never mind that they have already produced multiple impact reports over the past several years attesting that they can’t find any good reason not to build it, and that they’ve been promising to finally release this sucker for months and months and continually pushing back the date; I think, by the latest count, we’re at late-2013/early-2014 for a decision, but I won’t get my hopes up."
