'Ghostbusters' Returns to Chaotic, Hopeless State, Loses Directors Lord and Miller | I Watch Stuff: "As we discussed when the news first broke, Lord and Miller were likely our best and last hopes for the sequel to not be pretty bad. As writer-directors of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, 21 Jump Street, and the recent Lego hit, they have a shockingly proven history of making brand-based films way better than they have any right to be. If anyone was going to salvage this increasingly ill-fated project--now lacking original players Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, AND Ivan Reitman!--it was those guys. In other words, if we could get back to that Con Ed guy again, could we please just shut this thing down?"
